Saturday Snapshot - Kennedy Lake

Kennedy Lake
Vancouver Island, BC
July 2009

Remember the stream from last week's snapshot? I'm guessing this lake has something to do with those streams. We followed a road off the highway going into a park and came out on the shore of this lake. It's beautiful, clear, uninhabited and surrounded by mountains. Is there anything that's *not* gorgeous in the province of BC?

I went to live in Canada in the 80s when I was young because I'd grown up seeing lots of photos of BC. I think it's all beautiful too.

Oh, I'd love to just sit there on the shore and soak in the scenery. Beautiful!

Every time I've been in Canada, I've been breathless with the beauty of it.

And every time, I think: why can't I live here?

Thanks for sharing....

That's beautiful. Now if they can keep the land developers away from there it will stay beautiful.

yeah, no kidding! I was amazed to see no development here whatsoever - I hope it stays that way, too.

A lovely place. It's true the sky complements the color of the water.
