Reading Chair Love

How fun is this chair! I wonder if it tilts back when you're sitting in it?

I love the neutrals, the wicker, leather and wood. It seems warm and quiet here.

Great use of landing space! It's a mini library.

Yup! I'll take this too.

I'd have to pass on the last one. Lol.

Eee, these are great! I really hope that our future house has some kind of potential library space, even if that library is just all of our bookshelves squished into one room.

Alexis - lol ;)

ruby - Whatever it takes, right? I figure a library is a lifelong project, anyway.

Gosh, I loved the last one. That woman is just the sort I most admire. I looked her up, and found she is the one who started the Minack Theatre - a place Tom and I visited forty+ years ago. I clicked on your image source, and got connected to a video of the Tangye papers, which is why we even knew about the theatre. I wrote a tiny bit here:

Thanks so much for this picture.

She was a remarkable woman, wasn't she? Thanks for sharing your story and link. How wonderful you made that connection to something so dear to you.

I have several reading pictures and paintings pinned on Pinterest. These are nice too.

Pintrest is a wonderful site, isn't it? I've thought about starting a pinboard myself, but I'll probably just keep my collection of images here for now.

none of these chairs tilt... get yourself a rocker-recliner, like the one i have from la-z-boy ;)

kids rocked the hell out of it, years ago... mechanics are guaranteed for life, so i got it fixed... free... fabric you repair on your own dime ;)

chair is older'n my first child, bought it for her mother's pregnancy back pain... worked like a charm :)

Yes, tilting is good. Kids and tilting maybe not so much. Good deal with the la-z-boy, though!
