That's lovely - my pond is covered in green weed, but that's what I'd like it to look like. My Snapshot is at http://chriscross-thebooktrunk.blogspot.co.uk/2012/07/parisian-pictures-take-two.html
Oh! How lovely. I hate it when other people get the gardening gene, too. Great shot. Thanks for sharing. Here's mine:http://zaraalexis.wordpress.com/2012/07/07/saturday-snapshot-07-07-2012/
Beautiful! There can never be too many flowers in the yard. I have the garden gene, but it can be a curse at times. I have a lot of flowers and with the hot summer I'm constantly watering to keep them alive.
This is a beautiful garden. And about that missing gene, you should be glad since you can enjoy the fruits without the labor... so to speak. ;) And I'm sure your sister loves your visit.
Oh, how very lovely! I don't have that gene either...I wish could afford to hire gardeners, though, because I love a good garden and lovely flowers. I just can't make them happen.
Oh, how beautiful!! I could spend hours there and would love a pond... It makes me feel better to be outside in the sun and flowers. I enjoy puttering in the garden and do OK with it but my mom can make anything grow. Thanks for sharing!
Oh, that's just lovely. Magical and romantic. Funny how so many of us book bloggers didn't get the 'gardening gene'? I wonder if we're just too busy reading to water?

Lovely and peaceful looking.
Don't feel bad, I missed out on the creativity gene in my family:)
needs koi... to rid mosquito larvae....
It has goldfish and they're doing doing a pretty good job of keeping the water clear of bugs.
Very nice!
I haven't got the garden gene either, neither has the rest of my family for that matter, but I enjoy looking at other people's gardens.
Somehow that gene skipped over me too. I love garden pictures and the serenity of them.

That's impressive. I tried with a pond once but gave up, took out the liner and just put in a ground cover instead. Sigh.
The gardening gene missed me, too; my mother had beautiful gardens.
What a lovely one you've featured. I could sit there all day.
Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Lovely pond! Ours usually has fish in it but within 2 days of putting 6 gold fish in this year they had disappeared!! Raccoons we suspect!
I love to sit in gardens like this, but I can't imagine putting in the effort for the upkeep. Here's Mine
That's so pretty! I don't have the gene either...
It is gorgeous - it looks like a great place to relax.
That is some definite skill - gorgeous pond!
Looks pleasing to the eye. Being a gardener myself, I know the work it takes to make such a place. We don't have a pond though.

It's a very beautiful pond- I didn't get the gardening gene either, but can admire it in others.
