The only advice, indeed, that one person can give another about reading is to take no advice, to follow your own instincts, to use your own reason, to come to your own conclusions.
~Virginia Woolf, How Should One Read a Book?
It's funny, I love her quotes and her thoughts, she is indeed very wise and talented, but I've had a hard time reading her books to completion. I find she goes off on tangents that are hard to rein in. Why did she do this? I don't know. Her writing is lovely, though.

A wise and so very talented woman. Her “Room of One’s Own” essay/line is a classic – and still a dream for most women.
