Wow, is that gorgeous! I can never seem to get a decent moon photo.

Beautiful pic. I love your reader's bill of rights as well - I may have to borrow it at some point if I may :-)

Kaye - it's hit or miss with me. I get the best results with a tripod or just sitting the camera on top of something sturdy and taking my hands off it completely.

Dragonfly - Thanks! Yes you absolutely may borrow it. Daniel Pennac's book is an ode to the love of reading for reading's sake. He is a wonderful wonderful author and teacher.

That's a lovely moon shot. I've been trying with the moon and different exposures but there's obviously something I'm doing wrong because the moon just looks like a luminescent smudge.

Oh, what a romantic shot! It's always hit or miss on sky shots with me too ... but when it works, it really works! Great photo!

So fabulous! It looks almost mystical....the way it's "slipping" out behind the clouds.

Thanks for sharing...and for visiting my blog.

Wow, I can't tell what's water and what's sky...love it!

It almost looks like the moon is coming up out of the water.

Nice. The clouds add a nice appeal to the shot.

That's a great moon shot! I tried to get one of the moon in the clouds last week and ended up with 20 photos of what looked like a fog light straight on.

I agree with other commenters..the moon is not easy to photograph! Yours looks beautiful.

Gorgeous! Your photo has convinced me to take my camera and tripod out the next time there's a full moon so I can do a bit of practicing!

I love the way the clouds over the moon make it almost look like it is floating in water. The kind of image you have to look closely at. Beautiful!
