Herbs from our garden. I'm thinking pesto. I'm thinking chicken salad, potato salad, and egg salad. I'm thinking all kinds of deliciousness. Summer is so great, isn't it?

Hmm, I think I see chives and French sorrel. My husband can't believe how good the REAL cottage cheese and chives tastes - not the stuff you buy all prepared. Mix cottage cheese with chives and add black pepper. I cut the chives very thin by grasping a bunch of it and using scissors.
As for French sorrel, it's delicious in omelets: just mix your chopped sorrel in your beaten eggs.
These are regular French recipes I do these weeks with herbs and greens from our garden. In France, we also do soups with French sorrel. so at the end of the season, I will cut the sorrel and freeze for the winter

Definitely pesto! I love to add basil leaves to salads in the summer. Great photo!

Oh man, everything tastes better with fresh herbs!
That looks lovely. Pesto sounds wonderful.
There are few more delicious things in the world than chicken salad. Especially when it's served freezing cold on a hot summer day.
Here's my Saturday Snapshot for the week. Warning: May cause hunger pangs. :)
Mmm, those look wonderful! Such a nice green and no little holes--my herbs rarely turn out that perfect-looking.

Perfect herbs for a big plate of pasta! Yum! We're harvesting great basil this week, so I am all about the pesto!

I love the view from the top and the sound of the food it brings.
At first glance I thought it was an elaborately decorated straw hat - fresh herbs are even better!
