Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen

I'm not much into chick-lit, but last week I was in the mood for something classic and witty. Who better to scratch that itch than Jane Austen?

It is your turn to say something now, Mr. Darcy. I talked about the dance, and you ought to make some kind of remark on the size of the room or the number of couples.

Oh snap.

I love when characters are witty no matter the genre.

Yes, true that! There's also a genre for every mood.

Jane Austen is one of my favourite authors - so witty, so sharp, so observant and so honest.

And as for Mr Darcy - what a character! He's two centuries old and still makes us drool! (OK, I'm speaking for myself here!)

I've only read a few of her books, but I am always pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy them.

I love how Mr Darcy is so brooding and stand-offish! *rawr*
