I love when characters are witty no matter the genre.
Yes, true that! There's also a genre for every mood.
Jane Austen is one of my favourite authors - so witty, so sharp, so observant and so honest.
And as for Mr Darcy - what a character! He's two centuries old and still makes us drool! (OK, I'm speaking for myself here!)
I've only read a few of her books, but I am always pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoy them.
I love how Mr Darcy is so brooding and stand-offish! *rawr*
