Winter Reads

It's time to stock up on wintery books.

This is a pretty good list of titles, but I see one that is missing - Ethan Frome by Edith Wharton. It's such and incredibly wintery book, I'm wondering what other ones they might have left out.
Any suggestions?

I'd recommend Veins of Ice by Yrsa Sigurdardóttir or Hypothermia or Arctic Chill by Arnaldur Indridason if you want books that chill you inside and out.

All three are mysteries. The first takes place in an isolated research station in Greenland and the other two during an Icelandic winter.

I tend to reach for books about summer during the winter in an effort to warm myself up! I guess I'm not a big fan of winter. :)

It's a shivery list! I'm partial to the Laura Ingalls Wilder books myself. There's also a pretty good YA novel called Trapped where a few students get stuck at the high school in a blizzard; and I always associate The Night Circus with ice and snow along with Eowyn Ivey's The Snow Child.
