Interesting quote. Fall air is definitely cooler and drier than the summer months and easier to breathe. The end of the season is more gray than the colorful beginning and middle. Although, I usually think of winter as being the "gray" season.

Yes, "grey" is an odd choice of word for this early in the season; November when all the last leaves are gone is the month I think of as grey. Oh well. It's the all the fresh air and deep breaths that I love about this crisp fall weather.
