Every dwelling no matter how large and elaborate or simple and small should have a space for books.

The windows here give this room some excellent bright light. Is there a ladder for that wonderful floor-to-ceiling bookshelf, I wonder? I'd love to be able to peruse that top shelf on a whim.

The warm rugs and fabrics in this room make it so incredibly inviting. I could spend many happy hours inspecting the bookshelves and reading long into the evening.

It's the warmth and simplicity that make this a delightful reading spot.

Hello Trish! I was happy to see a new post from you, and even more so when I realized how long it had been since the last time! I've been a really lousy blogger for a year or more, I think, but I do try and stop at some every now and then....and when I stopped here, I immediately remembered how much I loved your blog!! Hope all is well and that you've just been on a little Blog Break! Best wishes for 2016!!

These are all lovely reading nooks, but I especially like the third one. It looks so cozy.
