Winter Reading

Later she remembered all the hours of the afternoon as happy - one of those uneventful times that seem at the moment only a link between past and future pleasure, but turn out to have been the pleasure itself.

That is how I looked and felt yesterday on a very cold and windy winter's day. The book and the hot drink do help :)

The whole image just radiates comfort, doesn't it? Even the colors and lines are soft. It's a lovely thing to do on a winter's day.

A picture of me again...lol. Well missing the cat perched on top of the quilt. :-)

Wanted to update you on something interesting that came out in our news yesterday...I told you about the books and manuscripts in Mail being destroyed if you remember? It just came out yesterday that a charity organization here helped to smuggle most of the books and manuscripts out of the library before it was destroyed. A few were lost but many are being hidden. They are being very secretive about it all for safety reasons.

Daisy - it is cozy, isn't it? It's just been so cold and wintery here lately . . .

Heidi - Haha yes a cat would complete the picture.

Thank you for that good news update! I'm so glad to hear it.
