"The secret of contentment, George felt, lay in ignoring many things completely."

Ha! Ain't that the truth.

Just started reading this quirky book and enjoying it immensely.

I like that quote. How true!

TOO true! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on this, I've only read The Curious Incident by him so I can decide whether to bother with this one or not! :)

I've been meaning to get to this book read before I get to his next one, Red House. I enjoyed Curious Incident so much all those years ago, I was sure I'd like whatever he wrote next. So far so good!

Yes good book. Definitely better than his latest book [Red House] which so disappointed me

This was my introduction to Haddon - and I loved it. Hope you do too.

Words - Oh dear. I was hoping Red House would be just as good. Oh well.

Debbie - Great! I'm looking forward to keep going with it.

I figure one should pick one's battles. A lot of the BS that happens in life just isn't worth a response or reaction. And the stuff that's already happened? Well, it's done and over so it's time to move on.
