Scene of the Blog at Kittling:Books

I have the honor today of being Cathy's featured blogger at her weekly "Scene of the Blog" post over at Kittling: Books. Every Wednesday Cathy highlights a different book blogger with some pictures of their reading and work space along with a detailed write-up and guest post. I've enjoyed scrolling through her past posts recognizing many of the names and getting to know many new ones. It's a great way to get to know the people behind the book blogs! Thanks, Cathy, for putting together this wonderful resource for all us book-blog enthusiasts and for including me in it.

So, if you'd like to know more about there wheres, whys and hows of Desktop Retreat, head over to Kittling: Books and check out what Cathy has in store for today.

thx for he quick look, trish...

for years i used a la-z-boy rocker-recliner as my fave place to sit, read... initially bought for the ex when she was pregnant with our first... the mechanism is guaranteed for life, the upholstery, not

the kids used it as a wild rocking horse, and wrecked it... la-zy-boy picked it up, repaired it, and brought it back - free!

i still have that chair today, [cost about $700 back then] it folds back almost flat; several folk have slept on it when beds were in short supply

there is a small tear on the seat i'll cover over with an iron-on patch at some point....

Yes, my mother has one too - La Z Boys are nice. I'll have to take a closer look when I get serious about switching chairs.
