Saturday Snapshot - Germany

It's been almost a year since we went to Germany to visit family and see the countryside. In Quetzin we stayed in a lovely little inn surrounded by fields and woods and walking paths. I spent most of the time wandering around with my camera. The bird on the fence post? I think it's a magpie.

So pretty to see farmlands like this. I love taking rides to places remote and still pretty much uninhabited. Great photo.

Gorgeous open land - nice to see a scene that's not all built up.

It does look a magpie - and a beautiful dry stone wall.

Such a quiet, peaceful place. When I think of Europe, I think of old rock walls--we just don't see them around here where I live!
Lovely photo--

What a gorgeous bucolic scene. And yep, I think that is a magpie.

I love pictures like this. I can somehow always tell that it's Europe. :) That stone wall is awesome, as is the tree next to it. I want to sit under it and drink tea.

A nice moment in time captured. Makes me want to visit Germany. I've only briefly stayed in the airport at Frankfurt. Does not count! :)

What a lovely and peaceful countryside. The rock wall looks good and the bird certainly looks like a magpie.

That's such a gorgeous shot. I haven't been to Germany (yet) but that looks like the magpies we saw in Ireland.
