Can't imagine what my childhood would have been like without the magical, wonderful world of books. (Nor the lives of my children.)

Yes! I figure if you surround children with books they can't help but be curious enough to become readers.

any tale could do... sometimes it was enough to have ma/pa hold you in their lap and make one up, just for you!

Connection is so important in a small child's life, isn't it? The made up stories are especially fun :)
