Public libraries have been a mainstay of my life. They represent an individual's right to acquire knowledge; they are the sinews that bind civilized societies the world over. Without libraries, I would be a pauper, intellectually and spiritually.

I should use my library less as I own so many unread books, but I just love the atmosphere of it and I can't stay away!

Libraries are a wonderful place to visit, aren't they? Even if I don't check anything out, I still just like to stop in to see what's new on the shelves.
