sometimes a tale DOES end with a period... esp if she was concerned about missing her's... and, no doubt, a HAPPY ending... in her case! :O lol

I am a control freak, so I like all of my loose ends neatly tied, even if it doesn't reflect reality.And it took me a while to work out that 'period' can also mean 'full stop' in America, period only has one meaning here!
Sam - it's funny, I've run into some language differences between us, also. I can usually tell a British blogger by how they say 'whilst' and we say 'while'. No tidy endings for me, though ;)
