Saturday Snapshot - Georgian Bay

Georgian Bay, Ontario, is a beautiful, wild, and remote part of Lake Huron. We love coming out here for the all kayaking and hiking we can stand.

Lovely

From a distance, and if you squinted, the rocks could be mistaken for a monster like Nessie from Loch Ness :)

That is beautiful. Loads of detail and at the same time simple and serene. That picture would make a lovely wall hanging.

It's been a long time since we were that far up on Georgian Bay. Are you an avid kayaker?

Gorgeous! I'm not much a fan of water sports but do enjoy hiking.

The cloud definition is wonderful. I love it when the clouds look so well-defined that you think you could just reach up and touch them.

I would say I'm an enthusiastic but somewhat amateur kayaker. I enjoy gliding around silently on the water - it's the getting in and out of the kayak that's still kind of tricky. I haven't tipped or fallen in the water yet . . . which I guess is a good thing ;)

Yes, the clouds! The sky feels very close, doesn't it?
