The Count of Monte Cristo Comes Home

Look what I found in all its 1400 page glory for a mere .75 cents at the thrift store. It measures in at a full 2.5 inches thick and I'm guessing it weighs about 2lbs. So, is this worth devoting the time and lugging around effort to read it?

I love how you actually measured it :)

Don't tell...but...I've never read it. *shhhh*

I don't have many chunksters like this under my belt either. Maybe now that it's on my TBR shelf, though . . .

I have a second hand copy too. It's been sitting on my shelf for about three years ...

It's not quite as thick as yours but the writing is tiny!

tiny library - this one may also stay on my shelf for . . . a while. And, yes, part of the reason it's so big -and that I finally decided to bring it home- is that it has nice wide spacing and big font. My eyes aren't what they used to be.

nomad - the cover is gorgeous, isn't it? A bientot! (you'll have to imagine the accents as my keyboard is not cooperating lol)
