A couple of summers ago, we had a young visitor at our back door. This baby crow was all alone and not quite able to fly so I picked him up and perched him on one of our patio chairs where he'd be safe (sort of) from the neighbor's cat. He was shy at first but didn't take long to figure that I was okay company, even accepting food from my hand. A few days later he took off into the trees and flew away.

Here's MY SATURDAY SNAPSHOT POST
Wow, pretty amazing photo.
What a great picture! Love it.
Great shot! I adore the baby birds. They are so innocent and trusting and haven't learned to be afraid of us yet.
Wow, beautiful photo. We recently had some hatching eggs in school for spring, and one of the chicks was very poorly when he came out. It was a wonderful feeling when he pulled through, and I imagine it was the same for you.
Wow, I've never seen a wild bird do that. Very cool!
Wow! That's so adorable!
What a great shot, and memory! I once had a fish that I had to feed by hand. Yes, the fish would NOT eat unless I wet some food and stuck it on the end of my finger and put it in the tank. Very strange!
Here's mine
Awesome story & photo.

What a fantastic photo!
Fantastic photo!
I don't think that crows are well liked, but if you watch one long enough you'll see how smart they are. It's pretty awesome that he was eating out of your hand.
Incredible photo! Love those bright eyes!

This is one of the best photos ever...I would have wanted him to stay with me forever!!!
It was bittersweet to see him finally fly into the trees - but I knew it was for the best.
