Saturday Snapshot - Grape Leaves


Our back patio has a grapevine growing all over a trellis that is positioned to give us shade on hot summer days. Last summer I took this picture with the sun shining on the leaves in such a way that they appeared to be glowing with a light of their own.

This was taken early in the morning when the sun is just over our neighbor's dense hedge row giving it the dark contrast in the background.

Summer's just around the corner, isn't it?!
