I can't pass a bookstore without slipping inside, looking for the next book that will burn in my hand when I touch its jacket, or hand me over a promissory note of such immense power that it contains the formula that will change everything about me.

Beautiful! I LOVE the photograph too. Two of my very favorite things in life: bicycles & bookstores.

Yes, this was a great book for those of us who love books.

lee & alyce - I love how it's kind of drizzly outside too. It makes the bookstore look really cozy.

deb - yes indeed, and thanks!

Looks a very inviting shop, would be rude to just walk by. :)

Such a lovely, lovely quote. I think most book lovers must have felt this sensation from time to time.

Good quote! My parents are always puzzled while even on trips, I'd visit a bookshop too. Lolz.

dizzy c - yes of course! And one would need to get out of the rain too ;)

bibliophile - it's a lovely feeling, isn't it?

trailofthepen - traveling has never stopped me from visiting a bookstore either. Sometimes it's the best way to discover an author or a title you might not have noticed at home.
