Guilty Pleasures

A favorite books meme hosted by Sam @ Tiny Library

#4. Guilty pleasures.

I would have to say Dan Brown, Robin Cook, and Michael Crichton are my favorites for this category. Their books are exciting and fast paced with a decently cerebral angle. They don't spend endless pages on characters and backgrounds; they give you what you need to know and then drop you right into the middle of the action. I love that! I don't know if I have a favorite, though; they're all enjoyable in their own way.

I've read the Da Vinci Code, but not any of Dan Brown's other books, even though I have two sitting on my shelf that my husband has read.

My guilty pleasure is Stephenie Meyer.

Hi!
I love all your authors and have read several of their books. They are awesome writers and keep you on the edge of your seat through the whole book. Have a great day!

Dan Brown was my second choice this week. I haven't read any Michael Crichton but if it's like Dan Brown I would probably love it!

Hi Trish,

I will read just about any genre and any author I can get my hands on, I don't have any hard and fast favourites.

I have read one or two Michael Crichton, but from your author selection I would have to say that Robin Cook is my favourite.

All of his books are on the edge of the seat material and the films that have been adapted from some of them, are fantastic and not to be watched alone!!

I haven't read any of those authors yet but I do have a copy of Da Vinci Code. I need to find a good time to start on that..
