Books as Art

Yes, there are some books that really are this delicious.

Off the top of my head, I'm thinking Jane Eyre, Dracula, Frankenstein, The Historian, Through Black Spruce, Three Day Road, The 13th Tale, A Moveable Feast, An Alchemy of Mind, Cherry, Too Close to the Falls, The Incident of the Dog in the Night Time, Better Than Life, To Kill a Mockingbird. . . .

Which ones am I still missing?

librarian - Suite Francaise was also very good. I was on the fence about it for a while but then came around to really liking it.

stephanie - I've had my eye on All the Pretty Horses. My hub has it in his bookshelf; I may have to move it to my bookshelf ;)

jane eyre cd - thanks for the heads-up. I'm not crazy about audio books, but a movie this year? I'll be all over it!

Gone with the Wind? It may be a little much for desert. You might have to serve that for the main course.
