Saturday Snapshot

We spotted this sweet little family scene from the car as we drove along the Pacific Rim Highway on a trip to Vancouver Island, BC. July 2009.

Oh, this is a powerful image. Gives new meaning to family.

I like the light around the bottom edge...it looks kind of surreal....

Thanks for sharing.

They're so cute! I don't get to see them nearly as often as I did when I was living in the country (where I grew up).

They're just beautiful! We never see deer where we live.

Awww... who could resist stopping to take that shot. They are adorable.

It was a fleeting moment and then they were gone. The picture actually turned out okay, though. I wasn't sure how it would look once I got it off the camera and onto the computer.

How did you do it? You caught the mom and babe. It's great.

What a cute picture -- I'd love to drive this route, I'm sure it's absolutely beautiful!

It's definitely worth a trip out West! The mountains and ocean and misty pine forests are magical.
