Kid in a Candy Shop

Browsing Chapters with a coffee in one hand and a gift certificate in the other - pure bliss!

Here's what I came home with:

Parallel Play growing up with undiagnosed Asperger's by Tim Page

The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield

House Rules by Rachel Sontag

And then I toured through the neighborhood used book store where I found a copy of Cherry by Mary Karr. This is the very reason I love used book stores because you never know what hard-to-find treasures are awaiting you on their crammed, dusty shelves. Ever since I read The Liars Club I had wanted to get my hands on a copy of Karr's second memoir installment before I tackled her just-published Lit. But alas Cherry was nowhere to be found . . . until today when I just happened upon a copy at a used book store. I love when that happens!

So like me - Chapters with the gift certificates, the used book store for finding the treasures...
