It was what I would call a comfortably challenging read. I had to pay attention but not so much that I didn't get into the flow of the story. I was pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed her writing and am looking forward to reading more of her. I have <i>Jazz</i> and <i>Paradise</i> waiting for me on my TBR shelf.
