Saturday Snapshot - Planters

While walking through town this week I happened upon this lovely display outside a flower shop. An old shutter, some colorful Crocs, petunias and ivy - how cool is all that?!

I think crocs are ugly so this is a very cool way to use them to me!!!

Unusual, but very effective.

I love it! What great little party gifts those would make for a brunch or girl's luncheon...

I do love seeing things used in new and fun ways.

Crocs as planters look better (to me) than on the feet! lol

Quite possibly the best use of crocs ever! :)

That's so cute. It's also quite possibly the most sensible thing I've seen anyone do with crocs (you can tell that I don't find them comfortable at all, can't you?) :-)

The positive/happy side of me says, "What a great idea, how cute!"

The cynical side, however, says, "Finally, a legitimate use for Crocs." ;)

Great shot!

Here's my Saturday Snapshot for this week.

Cute! But my first thought was that the crocs look much better as planters than as shoes. I saw a display similar to that using small rubber boots, but I like this one better.

If hair and hats can have flowers why not crocks. Very nice.

Creative and colourful, and as someone else said, good drainage. Neat!

I love this idea. I even have a pair of old crocs to start with. I think I'd need more than one pair though. Here's Mine

How creative is that?! I have quite a few well-used crock-types lying around the house... I just might DO that. Fun picture!!
